Baby bath seats

I have a 5.5 month old who is very long for his age. My current baby bath seat (Tigex by Modele Depose) states an 8kg weight limit. He's not this heavy yet but is too long (and wriggly) for the bath. I have checked the internet for a similar bath in a larger size as he is not sitting up yet, but all there is available are similar seats with 'from birth' as size claim. Any ideas?

If he's not sitting up, why do you want a bath seat for him? I'm not being rude, I'm genuinely interested in why you'd want him to be in a seat in the big bath.

My DS didn't sit up until he was almost 1yr so we waited until then in case of an accident.....

How about a rubber ring? Or a swimming seat? Or could you get in the big bath with him?

Hope you find something to help Smile

I had that bath seat. When DD was bigger and less prone to poo explosions in the bath i got in with her. It's by far the easiest way to bath baby properly, and for her to enjoy it.
