Protective Case or Storage Pouch?

Have you got either a hard, stay-on cover or do you have a pouch to keep your kindle in?

I sort of like holding it just as it is, but would need something to put it in.

Not sure which way to go.

I like the case 'cos I can hold it like a book, but I sometimes wish I wasn't holding that extra weight, when I am curled up in bed with it.

Yes, I find in bed I can lie on my tummy with the kindle next to me and read it easily, and don't think i'd be able to do this with it in a case. Also, MIL has a case on hers and it makes pressing the buttons awkward.

Mine's in a case with the built-in light, because I read it in bed. It does make it heavy though. When I take my kindle out and about, it comes out of the case and travels in an old sock

Grin old sock is a good idea.

Thankfully, DH can sleep in a wind tunnel with the lamp on, so no need for a lighted case for me.
