Double buggy that can take a buggyboard.

Hi, we have an E3 double buggy but I don't think it'll take a buggy board and we are about to have 2 1year olds and a 2 year old in the house (2 year old walks but not great distances yet). Trying to think of how the school run is going to happen without buying a big car!
Has anyone attached a buggyboard to an E3.

Has anyone attached a buggyboard to any type of double buggy and if so, what type/brand?

I recommend the Marcosky pushchair...and/or try one of the Bibi Swiss Strolli riders they are fab, and only need one bar to attach to.

you can attach a kiddie baord to the "mountain buggy" (2 to the double actually, and if you opted for a triple you can even have 3 boards on the back... imagaine pushing that uphill )

The double is wide, tho so may not fit through narrow doors.... it DOES however push beutifully, although it is expensive!

mmmm...would love a mountain buggy...might have to search ebay..s'only for the school run, not for shopping etc.

SmellyMelly - I know the marco sky - didn't know it took a buggyboard but good to know!..I'll search for the Bibi strolli, haven't come across them before!

I had a buggy board on a double urban detour. I had arms like Arnie pushing it uphill everyday on the school run...

I thought your child had no-where to put their heads when using a buggy board with an Urban detour?

Anyway just to clarify, I haven't actually tried a buggy board on the Marcosky, but It is just like any other umbrella, maybe you should check.

And the bibi strolli, is great, my dd is 3 and she loves it, it is like a treat when she uses it!!

I used the seat-to-go which mean that Ds could sit, rather than stand.

AllBuggiedOut · 18/02/2006 20:46

You can attach a seat to the handle of my Adventure Buggy Company Everest Double (imitation mountain buggy, cheaper and about as good!). Love it!

bluebear · 18/02/2006 21:34

Allbuggiedout - where did you buy your Everest from? - DId you need to import it?
Since I love our Phil and Ted E3 so much, and the Everest is another of their buggies I'm very interested...but like the strolli too...
Nice to have so many options!

I got it direct from Dale , the UK contact listed on the ABC website. He was operating out of a Big Yellow Storage facility in Watford at the time! This was last summer. He was really helpful, and even brought one round to my flat in London to check it would go through my narrow gap. I don't actually have the toddler seat, only 2 kiddies so far..., but the buggy itself is really sturdy and great to push.

Thanks ABO - Watford is not too far from us - will email Dale and enquire about price in GBP!
