Reccomendations for 12mth baby girl wedding outfit.....

I'm trying to find a really gorgeous outfit for my DD for a wedding in May. She'll be 1yr 1mth then but is quite small (she's only just into 6-9mth clothes and she's 10 months). Anyone got any good reccomendations? It's for MIL's wedding so she needs to look good! Also for my 3 1/2yr old son (slightly more difficult - nice boys stuff always seems harder to find).

the Vertbaudet catalogue used to have bsolutely gorgeous french outfits for girls and boys, and not too expensive.

Otherwise Monsoon?

bronniemuldoon · 15/02/2006 12:29

I didn't know Monsoon do kids clothes. Right I'm on the case, I'll have a look at Vertbaudet too. Thanks Blu

no help for DD, but Next have a very sharp linen suit in stone or brown - Monsoon do similar things here but are more than twice the price.

If you have a Choice store near you (Next discount shop), they may have something nice. They've got some BEAUTIFUL flower girl dresses in ivory, in the one at Bar Hill at the moment

How about the 'Designer's at Debenhams' ranges, they do some great outfits for both boys and girls at fairly good prices too.

|looked at the new asda wedding range yesterday it looked great for kids. very monsoon but half the price well worth a look.

mythumbelinas · 15/02/2006 13:41

howe about trying www.bhs.co.uk/wedding

keziah · 15/02/2006 13:54

as long as you can afford it monsoon has to be the place to go. they do boys clothes in our local branch too. up to about five years i think.
There are some discount designer clothes websites as well - i've bought stuff from this and was really pleased with what i got. happy shopping!

For your dd, try this £13.99. Be sure to click on "View detail image" for the backless view. You could team it with a small red cardi if it gets cold.

I love Vertbaudet for things like that, not too expensive but very nice!

blueshoes · 15/02/2006 14:03

That link did not really work.

Re-trying: link

Kidstrack2 · 15/02/2006 14:06

oh yeah dyzzidi I saw some of the kiddie wedding clothes and the adult range in an advertising mag, very nice too and great prices

blueshoes · 15/02/2006 14:07

urggh. Still doesn't work. The system automatically replaces the deep link with the Verbaudet home page url.

Anyway, click on Babywear in the top left. The page it brings up shows the backless dress as the second item.

bronniemuldoon · 15/02/2006 15:52

Fab, thanks everyone. Lots of things to try here. I just love an excuse to go shopping!
