JCB sit on digger thing - where to buy?!

Hello

I've seen these in Argos, Toys R Us & Woolies, age 2-7, sit on ridey things but they are about £50

Can anybody think of any other places which might do them, a bit cheaper?

DS is 2 in 3 weeks

Does it have to be JCB?

MamaG · 13/02/2006 13:01

No - the one we like has a scoop on the front and a trailer on the bad and it's really sturdy - just happens to be made by JCB

Hang on a tic.

I was looking October time as I wanted to get one for dd.

Saw one somewhere for £30. I'll see if I can find it again.

Thanks

How about a tractor and trailer instead?

Nbg · 13/02/2006 13:10

What about this?

MamaG · 13/02/2006 13:19

They are both fab (thank you!) but he is obsessed with diggers, so think I really need one with a scoop at the front.

DH might just have to clear the mothballs from his wallet....

What you need is a spare £200 or so for one of these . Wonder who buys these things...

This prob wont help much, but... if you look on the Argos website, they have ride on JCB diggers reduced to £7.99. But I checked the closest 12 stores to me or my Mum, and all out of stock. But if you live somewhere small, or where diggers aren't too popular, you might get lucky! I did see one in the Woolies sale, still expensive, but less than £50 I think....might have had a tenner off or so.

MamaG · 13/02/2006 13:24

ouch !

He would love that though..

If the Argos thing doesn't work out, there's this which is £45 (not much of a saving, I know.

MamaG · 13/02/2006 13:29

That's really nice, just the sort of think i wanted

The magic words "oh so-and-so sell them for £20" didn't appear but never mind!

THANKS

we got a fab one on ebay nearly new huge thing for 30.00, ds thinks he's gone to heaven, usually retails for at least 150.00 worth having a look.

We used to have one of these. The scoop and the trailer both broke off but DS2 still loved it to bits!
