here
can you tell i am avoiding doing housework...

tabitha · 29/11/2003 20:18

I can vouch for the Mothercare colour block one. Bought it two months ago and thought it was 'neat' then but it seems to have expanded to fit. Also, it looks not too bad...especially if I take my contact lenses out

hermykne · 29/11/2003 20:30

popsycal
are you not tired? housework in the pm? not possible!

Here's a couple more swimsuits - not sure about the flowery one! HTH

ninja · 29/11/2003 22:32

Not a link but I got a cheap one from Decathlon which was great - I wore it from 4 to 9 months

popsycal · 29/11/2003 22:45

Just dug out my old maternity jeans - coldn't remember where i got them from and knew that the catalogue had swim wear
its 'blooming marvellous' and here is their swimwear
other nice clothes too - i lived in the jeans from here right to the day that I gave birth!

I got the 2 piece from JoJo, looked ok in the early stages and stretched ok right up to 40 weeks. Also easy to get on and off when movement is somewhat restricted

bobthebaby · 30/11/2003 06:50

Crinkly Mothercare one good until fell to bits at 40 weeks (I did go swimming every day though) took it back and got a full refund. Pretty good bargain 20 weeks free rental.

emmatmg · 30/11/2003 06:53

Blimey Popsycal.....are you going for most number of links in one threads or what?

Cavy · 30/11/2003 09:41

So who was brave enough to wear a 2-piece suit? I would really like the sort that is crop-top with briefs-style bottom... I don't mind flashing my belly, esp. since I don't seem to get stretch marks, but am terrified of drawing attention to my fat thighs which high-cut 2-piece suits seem to do. Since I'm usually a size 14 up top & size 10 below, and I usually stay size 10 below the bump through pregnancy, maybe I'm just being delusional about the fat thighs. Can anybody encourage me to be brave enough to go for a 2-piece maternity suit this time? And do I have to spend £25 (plus postage!?) to get one?

-C, now 12weeks.

I got mine in H&M for about £7 and it was great.

fisil · 30/11/2003 19:08

Blooming Marvellous was a great swimsuit (still wear it) but it didn't really cope with the washing machine.
