Steam cleaner tips!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thought I could start a tip thread as I found a fantastic tip this morning.

I have a cream and navy rug and it usually takes about half an hour of vigorous cleaning to get it like new IYKWIM
but this morning
I decided to try something different.
I sprayed 1001 (squirty bottle) all over the rug, left it to soak for 5 mins and then steam cleaned it. It took 5 mins to get it like new and it looks lovely.

So hopefully someone may want to try it out for themselves

Ooh, I must give that a go on out living room carpet! There is a nasty stain that I can't shift.

My tip is to get rid of burned on bit on cooking trays. Cover the marks with Shout washing spray and leave it for a few hours. The enzymes in the Shout (or vanish) eat away that the grease, and it is then easy to shift.

steam cleaner fans - can anyone tell me if you can hire them anywhere? thanks

I'm interested in buying one - which one do use and do you think they are worth it?

I have a morphy richards grime buster (around £70)
