Satchels

I'm fed up with my kids school bags. They have rucksac type bags and the reading folders just don't fit. I'd like to get them (1 girl, 1 boy) some satchel style ones which accommodate the books better but I don't just want to get the old fashioned leather sort which is the only sort I can find on ebay.

Can anyone recommend a good place to buy a more modern, funkier version of the old school satchel?
thanks
Katherine

In Europe (where most kids walk to school) they have backpacks which have an internal frame and are ergonomically designed. In Switzerland they are called "Theks" which is an abbreviation of the proper word which I can't remember but perhaps some of the same brands are available in UK too.

Otherwise how about something likethis or these

There are school backpacks that are specially designed for avoiding back problems. My brother is a "moving and handling" trainer - I'll ask him. I think they're quite expensive though....
