I have trouble with socks in lots of ways, mostly losing them. So every few years I throw away all my remaining socks and buy lots of pairs all the same. (I remember someone saying on another thread that she has never lost as sock, was it Moondog? Pah!)
The last time I did this I bought Next socks with coloured toes/heels and I was very happy with them, but about a year ago I bought a pack of 5 to try and put off the inevitable throwing away and starting again and I thought the quality had gone down. Also since I first bought them my dh has bought similar socks and gets confused between mine and his so I want something distinctive.
So who does good quality socks, mostly cotton but with a good stretch, in colours/patterns that no man would be seen dead in, but not so cute that I would be embarrassed? Preferably an on-line retailer please.
(I know I'm middle-aged now that I'm concerned about socks , also I saw a sexy bra advert this morning and my first thought was 'That just doesn't look comfortable'.)
