Modular sofas: do you end up falling down the cracks?

Agh, sorry:

Really in love with this sofa but it's not really big enough. Could assemble a modular version using 2 end seats & a centre seat, but fear this could be a less-than-satisfactory solution that ends up irritating us by sliding apart at regular intervals (especially on a polished wood floor). Thoughts please

We had modular as a child on carpet - we fell down the gaps quite a lot.

hmm yes not the best solution I suspect

franch - quick hijack here. Just to let you know the group may have to be cancelled on Friday as T is really not well and I don't know if I can get anyone to run it. Will know for definite tomorrow, so I'll let you know. Just didn't want you to come all that way if its not open.
And will definitely be off the next week as its half term.

we've got 2 modular sofas (a huge one and a big one ) .. have never fallen through the gaps

I think if the sofa is heavy enough it stays put

plus ours has these clip things that go underneath

of course I hate the colour of them now and want them re-upholstered which would probably cost more than a new sofa so I'm a-liking your link

Hello Posey What's up with T? Hope he's not too poorly. Thanks so much for letting me know. Looks like we're moving on 24th so we may not be back then ....

Please keep in touch though, via here or on email. Good luck with the move.

Oh poor old T, give him a big hug from us. Will def keep in touch Posey, we'll miss you both.

You don't need to let me know about this Fri actually as I've just realised we're off down to SW4 to check out a couple of nurseries for R.
