Can anyone recommend an SLR digital camera?

I always seem to cock up my pictures, particularly of the fast-moving DC, and I've decided a new camera would make all the difference. I want one where you can keep the button pressed down and it takes a stream of pictures, so you can pick out the good ones. Does such a thing exist? Am such a Luddite!

Hi,

We have this one. panasonic lumix

i dont know much about it to be honest, its DH's, but the term "bridge camera" means something, and this one has a setting for A (action) that I turn it to when taking shots of DS at rugby. It takes 3 or 5 pictures in rapid succession which is what I think you mean.

I'm aware this isnt overly helpful. Smile

We have a Canon 450D and it is great for action pictures. You can take a stream of pictures when in 'sports' mode.

Apparently what I want is something called continous shootinng or burst mode. I'm foxed already Grin

DH says you need to look for eg, 12Fps burst mode in the spec. It's for frames per second.
