Ooh, saw this in the times yesterday. Those pods seem expensive though, think they are £2.99 for 18? Then again I like the ones that sit on your cup and the water drips through (?) and they are about the same for 10.

Wouldn't fit on the worktop in our tiny mini kitchen however so would prob be stuck in the cupboard with the Breville/food mixer/etc etc gathering dust.

we have a similar thing, brews coffee with pods and does frothy milk thing. Bought on the recomendation of delia Smith-how sad am I. It is dead easy and not messy, unlike previous espresso machine. But TBH the best bit is the frothy milk which the argos one doesnt seem to do. The pods are expensive and you have to get them mail oreder or special shops-which is a pain.
HTH

Saddo that I am, I was thinking of this thread last night and remember that Lakeland do a mini coffee maker thing that makes 2 cups, was about £11 I think. May investigate that one for moi.

Maybe someone with the technical knowhow would do a link. Hint hint.

CountessDracula · 27/11/2003 10:04

coddy is it nespresso? Or will it fit the nespresso pods? If not you may find you have a prob getting the pods after a while.

codswallop · 27/11/2003 13:34

have agreed pods are too expensive to justify it really. saw i t in woollies - same pirce - bloody cartel I reckon
