Ok, if I were to buy an oil filled radiator with a

power output of 2.5kW, but which has heat settings

of 1.1kW / 1.4kW / 2.5kW, does that mean that it

will run at (e.g.) 1.1kWh at the lowest setting,

rather than use 2.5kWh (assuming it's on for an

hour!) or will it use 2.5kWh regardless?

Please would comeone clarify this for me? I know it may be a daft question but I can't afford to pick the wrong heater

DH says it will use 1.1 kw at the lower setting. He says the "H"s are misleading because that is an amount of energy rather than amount of energy per hour.

Dh says exactly what MTS's dh says!

Thanks a million!

The h's are my fault, I stuck them in as an eg

So, it will run for less on lower setting, that's what I was hoping to hear!
