Bumping this - I've got a buggypod on order..but I know that some are getting shipped to customers this week.
Anyone got one yet?

Is it as good as we hope it is?

mumlove · 07/03/2006 12:39

I would like to know about this as well.

Busyalexsmummy What hassle have you got with your cosatto duet lite?
I want to buy one like that and have thought about the sky marco but cannot find any pushchair like it in the shops near me, i don't want to buy online without having a try at pushing and folding it.

Pollyanna · 07/03/2006 12:43

I'm still waiting for mine...

bluebear · 07/03/2006 13:19

Who did you order it from Pollyanna?

louloubelle · 07/03/2006 13:42

Well, I don't have one, but I test drove one at the weekend! My initial impression was that the seat was tiny, and that my 2.2y/o dd would barely fit in it. But she did. I tried it out whilst it was attached to a stroller, not sure which. I would want it to be attached to my Jane Powertrack, which I think it will. The assistants in the shop were quite fed up with trying to fit it on to a buggy initially, but it clipped off easily. It is a dodgy grey colour. Erm, not sure what else to say really...overall impression was not good at first, but would seem to do the job as long as you weren't hoping to get it instead of a double buggy, ie for occasional use!

bluebear · 07/03/2006 13:45

Thank you louloubelle - I'm hoping to attach mine to a double buggy and let 2 year old dd have the occasional sit down (she prefers to walk generally) whilst buggy is occupied by babies.
My dd is very small for her age, so hopefully she'll fit the seat!

GIRLSAT104 · 07/03/2006 15:00

I've got mine. It is hideous. The seat is tiny. It is going back. It is very poorly designed - it only has a side wheel, but actually needs a front wheel too as it pulls the buggy too much. Fitting it on was a nightmare, instructions very poor. Was very excited by its arrival, but totally disappointed.

bluebear · 07/03/2006 20:02

Thanks!

Mmmm...wondering if I should cancel my order - but the alternative is a triple buggy - horrors!

bluebear · 07/03/2006 20:03

What type of buggy did you attach it to GIRLSAT104?

zephyrcat · 07/03/2006 20:15

I'm really disappointed that it's maybe not as good as it looks - I've been planning on getting one for ages as I thought it looked brilliant!!

Pollyanna · 07/03/2006 20:28

i ordered mine from Jojomamanbebe. It's coming at the end of March apparently. I'm not encouraged by the feedback on here though - my dd is 3 so probably won't even fit in the seat.

GIRLSAT104 · 07/03/2006 23:00

I have attached it to a Micrallie - one of the buggies it is supposed to fit. Looks good on, but just does not work. My nanny encouraged me to buy it, but frankly the money would be better spent on a cheap umbrella double buggy for occasional use. Bluebear - sorry this isn't much help, but I presume that you have looked at the buggy board or Seat to Go Options ? A friend with twins has a Seat to Go and she totally raves about it. Child can sit or stand on it.

bluebear · 08/03/2006 20:46

Thanks GIRLAT104 - can't attach anything to the back of my double buggy - it's a phil and ted's...that's why it's either a buggypod or a triple buggy (or I buy another double buggy and a buggyboard - which I have been looking at, but would like dd to have the choice of a seat if poss. in case she's a bit under the weather (the school run has to happen even if she's poorly) )

bluebear · 10/03/2006 15:12

Well I've just had a phone call to say that my buggypod order is going to be delayed as they are all being recalled - there is a problem with a safety catch.

That triple buggy is getting closer and closer :(

portobaby · 28/03/2006 00:11

I was going to order a pod...not so sure now. To mumlove - don't get the Marco Sky unless you have a HUGE car. I have a Corsa and my hubby has a Vectra and it did not fit in either even with the wheels off, so I had to sell it. It is incredible though it you have a HUGE car (i.e people carrier) or do not drive.
