And what do you think of it? It seems much cheaper than the TP ones - which I know will be more expensive because of the make anyway. But this does seem good value - is it?

This one here

we got the argos 13ft one for dd (13 y o) for christmas. we all love it!!

Anteater has told me it's always better to go for the better quality ones - apparently, the padding over the springs around the edge is much better on the more expensive ones - he knows people that have had cheaper ones and they tear easily and don't stand up to the weather. He keeps his outside all the time (it's fabulous - level with the ground which is what I'm going to do!) and it takes a battering (he's oop north where it's windy and rainy!).

I'm therefore going to spend more when I get one as it's something that will hopefully last years. I'd rather spend £500-600 and it last for 10 yrs than £300 and have to replace it.

Up to you of course - may not take such a battering from your dd but I've got 3 boys who will pummel it with their friends!!

I am afraid it is this 8 foot one - or a much smaller one of the better makes, for similar price. Really can't justify forking out much more money for DD's birthday present - her party is bound to cost a fortune on top too!

hellsbells - that is good to know.

We do only have one DD and it will be dismantled and put away in the winter months, as we don't use the garden much then - way to cold and windy at this new place!!!

It will have friends on - but, having read all the safety stuff and being a bit of a worrier, thee will only be one on at a time!

Hula - sound sensible. Anteater is in the Lakes - his kids go on it rain or shine! They are very outdoorsy though - I'm a bit nesh and don't 'do' gardens in winter either! Might chuck the kids out though!

LOL! No, I am way to nesh for the winter outside. I refer to look from the winter. I send DD out with DH to our park or to go on her bike outside - whilst I busy myself somehow

And are garden gets muddy in the winter too - don't want a nice new trampoline all dirty . We have a big enough garage to put it away and resuprise DD every Spring again with it

We've got TP and my bro bought a cheaper one. There is a huge difference in the quality of the padding - theirs soon came apart and ours is still fab after a ocuple of years.
