Ladyshave or Epilator? What would you recommend?

Does anyone else find they can't make a decision these days without asking on here?

It's my birthday today and dh is buying me a new ladyshave, but I've spotted the epilators in the book too. I can't make my mind up. I like the thought of no regrowth for 4 weeks, but have never used an epilator so am not sure what they're like.

Help!

Shall I be a hairy Mary then?

I use an epilator, & my DD got one for christmas that came with starter head, ice packs etc. She doesn't bother with the ice packs now, still on starter head though, but insists it doesn't hurt her at all.

You are not totally hair free for 4 weeks though! If you touch up every week it will only take a minute & eventually they give up & die!

I've only used my epilator once (on my legs) - never again. it was soooooooo painful even with the icepack and starter head etc - ohh and a bit of alcohol to help.
