I have a choice of six carriers but can't make my mind up has anyone tried any of them? My baby is 6 months but quite small for her age and I don't want a sling or back pack at this stage.

Red Castle baby carrier
Bushbaby cocoon
Tomy Freestyle
Mamas & Pappas babycruz deluxe
BabyBjorn (the normal one not the active)
Babydan

I used a Tomy Freestyle and a normal BabyBjorn for my little girl but got quite a bit of backache and cutting into the shoulders as she got a bit bigger.
I then tried a BabyBjorn Active and was amazed at the difference in comfort.
Would highly recommend the Active.

Bushbaby .. superior even to the baby bjorn !

You can even take the baby off the straps but still in the cocoon bit and put them in the car seats if they are asleep ...they have strap holes so you can do this ..plus a tonne of other great features !
