Wheres the best place to buy a birthday cake?

I need to buy 2 birthday cakes ,one for sunday and one for monday, i cany be botherd to make one as my oven is sh*te. Dont want to spend too much eather. What are the ones in Asda and Tesco's like?

Got a Tesco Scooby Do one for DS last summer - he loved it. He hates sponge and this was chocolate so was much appreciated. Adults liked it too.

Tesocs are usually ok but if you can get to one Marks and Spencer taste nicer and not a lot more expensive.

Tescos ones are quite nice. Asda's chocolate ones are very good. However M&S usually wins it for me...

Sainsbury's own are nicer than Tescos. The Asda one they put the photo's on is nice enough & good if you've a photo you'd really like to use. I actually had that for DD's first birthday. I made little party hats for all her Tigger's (9!) and sat them under a 1st birthday banner with balloons & streamers took a photo & used it. Everyone loved it.

Seconding the M&S Colin the Caterpillar vote....u get mini Colins as well which can go round the outside like babies!

We have one every time there is a Birthday at work because we're terribly immature.
