biggest issue for us is space

last time we stayed away overnight i had to sit with my wheely bag on my lap for 3 hours!

any reccomendations we'd want a good quality one that packs up (very) small

thanks,

Friend has this one and found it easy to use and great in the space saving stakes - travel cot Think you can buy a diff version for older babies?

thanks twiga, but think this is going to be too small for our needs

Every time we use our Graco PackNPlay travel cot, I marvel at the fantastic design of it. It's easy to put up/take down and DD is still using it at 2 1/2. It's very well travelled and is going with us to NZ in a couple of weeks!. Packs up compactly and easily. I put a sheepskin under the sheet, but that's not really necessary. I got mine from Kiddicare for around £25. I think it was cheaper because it's orange and grey - but it's absolutely fine. Would thoroughly recommend.

we had a graco one but tbh they are all much of a muchness (apart from the samsonite pop up ones which are smaller and lighter).

Kiddicare has a good range at reasonable prices - both the samsonite ones are there too: travel cots

We have both the Samsonite ones. The bigger one here was used by DD for a month in the States. She was 8 months and we didn't go anywhere for a while after that but I think she'd be happy in it now (nearly 2). It needs to go on a soft floor but we put it on carpet with several bath towels underneath.

maggie which pack and play did you get, i like the idea of having one that can go in the garden (not that i have a garden, but you kwim good to have sun protection for days out/picnics
