hamax child bike seat

My bike has a frame that is 17" and it's too small for our copilot seat, does anyone know if a hamax seat will also have trouble fitting or if they are more universal?

oh. I was hoping that there would be some info on here about the Hamax seat I bought (Kiss) as the bike shops have been pretty useless.

Did you get this sorted? I've seen that Hamax sell a few different bars to correct different problems people have fitting the seat onto their bikes and I've gone "full steam ahead" and ordered an Extra bar for small frames ... because I think this is the problem with my bike- like yours a 17" frame
