Recreation play mats

we're thinking of getting these for the bottom of our garden which is currently concerated - we want to have them out from late spring and over summer but wondered how's they'd cope with the rain?

so just wondered if anyone else has them?

I don't think they are supposed to be left out in all the time. I would imagine that they would get slimey/grimey underneath as they can't 'breathe' once down.
