Do O2 Sims work in Vodaphone phones?

it depends if the phone is "unlocked"

(im sure when i was in carphone warehouse the otehr day they told me ALL the phones they sell are unlocked)

alternativly you can get the phone unlocked (most phone shops charge about a fiver for it... or you can search the net to find the code and how to do it (but beware after 3 failed attempts the phone wont ever work again)

also unlocking the phone invalidates the warrentee, apparently, so thats something else to consider

The easy way is to put a sim card from another network into the phone. If it works, the phone is unlocked. If not, most small independant mobile shops will unlock it for a fiver and there is always one stall at any decent sized market which will do it. If it's a nokia then there are lots of helpful sites which will tell you how to do it yourself such as this
