Giffgaff?? Anyone on it? What do you think?

Hi,

I'm just looking around for a new mobile phone deal and have stumbled across GiffGaff. It looks ideal price-wise but the cheapskate suspicious part of me thinks there must be a catch somewhere that I can't see. It seems too good to be true! Grin

Does anyone use it? Is it realy so cheap? And also, it suggests buying a cheap O2 phone (if you don't have an unlocked phone already) and just popping in the GiffGaff sim card. Does this actually work??

Many thanks!

I know a few people on it and there is no catch. It's exactly as it says. I want too move to it but means paying loads to cancel my contract

Ok thanks for that. Maybe I'll give it a go!

I was going to try giffgaff (which is owned by o2) However it requires an online registration which I found irrelevant as I was only after a cheap pay as you go sim without third party company's being sold my details

I'm on it.

I've barely used £20 in the 3 months I've been on it and I have an iPhone.

The only catch is unlimited data actually isn't BUT you do have to use a hell of a lot to be banned (I'm talking a GB a day)

Giffgaff run on O2 networks and a O2 locked phone is fine. Just a few code changes and your done.
