Has anyone else had problems with Volvo XC90?

Our Volvo XC90 is 5 years old and has a catalogue of problems. I wonder if we are unlucky or if it is a general theme with this car.

I had mine for about 1½ years with no problems (it was a lease car - had to give it back!). It did go in for some recall reason but I hadnt found a problem with it.
