What would you pay for a pram and why?

On my day to day jaunts i do often see the mummy community all discussing their prams etc. I have to admit I've been stopped a few times with general enquiries as to where I got mine from! However, what I tend to see is lots of people with the same brand, now this brand, although exclusive maybe, does not appear to be the most practical. I see people struggling with every day things. Mmmmm a bit like the fashion statement, if it's a designer it must hurt!! lol, what do you think?

I would never pay for one of the more popular expensive prams. Our travel system was £280 and that was slightly more than I was going to pay. It was worth every penny though, has been brilliant, and expect it to last through a few more DC yet!
LOTS of people seem to have the same pram (or imitations of it), but I've always been a bit against the whole going with the must have thing. I would never pay more for a pram than needed. As long as you like it and it's practical, who cares what other think?!
