Haven't been to the US in a couple of years but always found it MUCH cheaper there and used to stock up whenever I went over.

Rojak · 27/01/2006 11:02

Yes, I think it is - generally found that MAC, Bobbi Brown etc are cheaper too and the counter staff are usually generous with samples so ask for them if you're buying stuff!

Even cheaper is duty-free at the airport in the US if I remember rightly

NorfolkTurkey · 27/01/2006 12:04

Yes Clinque is much cheaper over there. Like Rojak says they are also alot more generous with the freebies i.e. you only have to buy one thing to get the goodies, not two like here.

Definitely cheaper. Save at least the VAT.

Yes, it is cheaper. At a store like Macys, Bloomingdales etc you'll pay $19.99 + tax for the larger size Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion. You can get it cheaper at duty free but the selection isn't always as good. Also at dept store you can ask for samples and they always seem to be doing some sort of promotional gift if you spend a certain amount.
