Do you think I am entitled to refund/replacement?
It's about 4 months old
Bought it from reputable online company
It was not cheap

blown up...how?!

starlover · 24/01/2006 19:32

eh? blown up?

WigWamBam · 24/01/2006 19:32

When you say it's "blown up" ... what do you mean, exactly?

stitch · 24/01/2006 19:32

how does an item o fclothing blow up? as in explode?

bakedpotato · 24/01/2006 19:34

An underwire is poking out
It's stabbing me in the armpit

OK maybe 'blown up' was over-egging pudding

OP posts:
starlover · 24/01/2006 19:35

oh! lol... can't you just stitch it back in?

LIZS · 24/01/2006 19:36

ah, have you washed it according to the instructions ?

charliecat · 24/01/2006 19:36

That is sooooooooooooo irritating, just brought some new from M and S in the sale after an old fav had started to poke through. Would definetly complain.

mumfor1sttime · 24/01/2006 19:37

LOL, thought it was one of those bras with liquid inside or something!

philippat · 24/01/2006 19:37

did you follow the washing instructions? If so, you should be able to complain. If, however, it says 'handwash only' and you put it in the washing machine (usual reason for underwires to come out), you're out of luck.

shame it didn't ACTUALLY explode

starlover · 24/01/2006 19:37

also, do you wear it every day?

bakedpotato · 24/01/2006 19:38

oooooohhh YES Lizs, so glad you asked that, I have been at pains to handwash as per instructions
Never bothered to do this with a bra before, but like I said, it wasn't cheap
I could have a go at repairing it but I'm not much of a needleperson

OP posts:
bakedpotato · 24/01/2006 19:39

Every day? No!
I have others

OP posts:
starlover · 24/01/2006 19:40

in that case complain!

littlemissbossy · 24/01/2006 19:40

handwashing bras - you lot are mad!!!

Bakedpotato, can't you push the wire back in and sew up the hole?

LIZS · 24/01/2006 19:40

Complain !!!

bakedpotato · 24/01/2006 19:44

LMB, I really can't sew. And I think I'd need fishing twine for this particular job.

Anyway, I think a bra should effortlessly withstand 4 months usage, don't you?

Thanks, you've fired me up now, I'm raging
