Arianet value blue mp3 player - 1gb £45.77 inc vat. They do cheaper and smaller ones as well. got my dad this for xmas and it looked ok. V quick delivery as well...

rio carbon pearl - great. 5GB harddrive but still fine for runnung, doesn't jump. I paid £99.

It looks great but not sure I can afford that much reaaly.

It was a bit more than I wanted to pay but it got rave reviews and the software on it is good - easy to select a track, playlist, artist or album. And the quality of the sound is trmendous. I had previously got an (admittedley very) cheap one for my son and you can't easily select what you want to hear. Or so he says. He may have been just pissed off that I got myself such a good one!!

I second the Tesco's one. its a technika... 256 mb
and you can turn the volume down, with out having to click 2 different buttons like mine!

256 mb doesnt really hold that many songs tho does it?

my 256 has 36 songs on at the moment.. I have several long songs at the moment by meatloaf and whitney houston... so I expect that makes a difference

see thats nowhere near enough for me, i'd get bored too quickly
