can you share books on kimdles with the same account?

If I buy another kindle under the same name can I have access to the books I have bought on the first one?

yes you can but it has to be managed from the PC rather than the Kindles

I'vegot 3 on my account -not sure what the upper limit is

Feel can now justify going to buy another for me.

can you only have some of the same books on a second same account Kindle? Only we're thinking about buying a second one for the DC on holiday, but I don't necessarily want to share all my books with them (have some gruesome crime, not dodgy soft porn ).
