I've recently bought an urban detour and found you can get a buggy board on the rear of it but there's no where for the childs head to go 'cause the solid handle bar is in the way and you can't move it out of the way! Many kids just sit on the triangular footplate though and hold onto the bumper bar. That's what I'm going to be relying on, that and a second less-comfy buggy with board.

So basically whatever buggy you've got unless there's room between the buggy hood and handlebar, or the handlebar moves up out of the way, or there are two separate handles to the buggy a board is pretty impossible....unless you get a seat-to-go and the kid (and you) are happy for them to sit on it all the time - it also sticks out quite a way and may be in the way of you walking.

Sorry to waffle on but I feel a bit of an expert in this subject at the moment..ahhh!

I had a Quinny Freestyle and the handle bar moved in to different positions and I think, could be wrong, that all Quinnys do this? So the head thing shouldn't be a problem.

Not sure about fittings for the base though.

Have you seen the Buggypods? They are a seat which attaches to the side of the pushchair and has a wheel on. Very basic seat but could be more beneficial than a board.

Agree with NBG. Tried a Kiddyboard on our Quinny and it should have been possible to get the head through, certainly with seat forward facing less sure about carrycot. Can you try one out ?
