any car mechanics out there?

My Dh's Ford Mondeo estate needs to get the wheel bearings done on one of the tyres. Anyone able to give me a rough idea of how much this will cost? Thanks

probably in the region of £100 - mostly labour charges I would think. (I had my front brake pads replaced last week for £120 - probably a similar amount of work)

Someone told me about £300 each surely that can't be right!!

well it depends how long it will take - say £75 per hour - maybe more depending on where you are. Ring another couple garages and get an idea of what they would charge.
