Special dress for DD Baby Naming Day

Hi all, We have decided to have a baby naming day for our DD. We are not religious so don't want her Christened cause we don't want to be hypocrites and if she, or DS, want to be baptised later - that is their choice. I have plenty of time as we aren't having it till May but I am the look out for a special dress for her. It doesn't have to be a Christening gown but I want a special outfit so that I can put it away in her memory box. I'm looking for a dress, cardigan, shoes and hat but I don't want to be spending too much(she will be 9 months). I have seen a lovely dress in Next and a couple of possibilities in Vertbaudet but just wondering if any of you had any suggestions for any other sites.

Thanks in advance xxx

Monsoon have beautiful clothes.

When I got married I bought dd's dress from there and she was 3 months.

My DD had a beautiful dress for her NCD from Debenhams, I hope you find the perfect dress and have a fabulous day

KidsWindow has some great things (do a QuickSearch for 'christening' and scroll down for the reasonably priced ones)

I bought a fabulous dress for my DD's christening from ebay - might be worth a look.

Have a look in BHS if you have one near you they have their bridesmaids dresses out.

If you are anywhere near a Choice discount store:

www.choice-discount.co.uk/ASP/

They are a next seconds/end of season and they have some AMAZING bargains. They've got some BEAUTIFUL dresses at the moment in the one near me just outside Cambridge. Not sure if they have any as small as you want at Cambridge (although they do do small sizes), but a bridesmaid's dress for my 6yo was reduced to under £10 from £40. They don't sell online, so you have to go to a shop.
