Pretty school pinafore, with pockets?

DD only likes to wear "pretty" dresses (and only dresses, with a shirt underneath)... Does anyone sell a school pinafore (grey or maybe navy) that is really "pretty"? Maybe with some embroidery in it? Or something else that makes it looks handsome? I thought she'd like pockets, too.

Any suggestions?

My dd likes pretty dresses as well, but pretty pinafores are few and far between!

Tesco do one with a dragonfly embroidered on the pocket at the top - my dd thinks it's beautiful. Adams have zips where the pull is a metal heart or a flower, which dd quite likes as well, and M&S have a pinafore where there's a bow at the side above the pleats.

the childrens warehouse do loads of different styles with pockets, erm let me find a link....

childrens warehouse, better to ring for a catalogue though as the site is tricky to navigate and find what you need!

The Mothercare one has a flower zip tag too. This one has a flared skirt that makes it look less schooly and more like a proper dress.
Would a blouse with a pretty collar help too?

I don't know if they're allowed blouses, the Tesco pinafore sounds esp. good. Actually it's all helpful (so many thanks). Must remember to bump this up for the weekday crowd, tomorrow.

oh, and Tesco have this one with a ribbon bow round the dropped waist AND a heart zip tag.

Found today that BHS do pinafores with embroidered little flowers on them (little sparklies in the middle of the flower).
