Anyone found any good site to download kindle books from?

I don't just want the out of date classics, I want newly released books.

And I want lots of modern children's books.

I'm happy to pay a subscription fee.

Not tried them sorry Indigo. Where are they based? Are they open to UK citizens?

The book download center won't let you search before paying for a subscription, so I won't part with my money.

ebookr.com lets you search, and didn't have the kind of books I wanted.

So, so far I'm resorting to paying for each book individually :)

Apparently some libraries in the UK do let you borrow e-books. But not my local one.

My library lets you download but only with certain ereaders, and kindle isn't one of them.
