can you recommend me a hoover?

I have laminate floors and big rugs downstairs and carpets upstairs.

any ideas? but not overly expensive please.

get a Henry
my mum was a cleaner and swore by them
also they have a smiley face so small children can be persuaded to make friends with them...

i think £100+ would be expensive to me
i begrudge paying for something so boring as a hoover !
