i found a lovely pressie for a little girl which I bought for my niece and it arrived today
upside down dolls
i remember a friend of mine had one of these when i was little and i was always very jealous
we bought my niece the cinderella one
this is the link
it is a website i have used several times and so has my sister - very reliable and speedy

My sister used to have an upside doll when we were younger. My nana made it for her!

John Lewis sell them - may be a little cheaper than the website

Popsycal, Hawkins Bazaar is brilliant! We get their catalogue every year for all dd1's stocking fillers and its excellent quality stuff and really unusual. I can thoroughly recommend them.

Think these are better for older girls. DD got given 2 last Xmas, cinderella and another "pretty" one. She's shown no interest in either (now 2.8y)

i know what you mean
we just want to buy our niece something nice to keep as well as the bits and bobs that she can use now...know what i mean
