My kindle has no wifi connection and hasn't done for the last 2 weeks. Dh spent ages last night trying to get it working with no joy Sad

Have tried all the obvious things, like turning in off and re starting it etc.

Does it need to go back or am I missing something really obvious?

TIA :)

Have you switched on wifi from the menu button? Have you set up wifi with the code from the sticker on your wifi box? (If its 3G just switching wifi on from the menu should do it.)

Mine sometimes loses the connection. I have to switch off both the wifi and power down the kindle (slide the switch till the screen goes blank), then leave it for a couple of minutes and try again.

How are you getting on now valium? Have you sorted it?

Thanks for the suggestions, but I have tried all of the above. There has been no connection at all for 2 weeks but everything else in the house is working fine, very odd. I have asked a friend to bring hers over today to see if hers works her

Thanks for your suggestions :)

It is odd. The only other thing I can suggest is getting in touch with Amazon Help, they have been very good when we've had problems.

It's fixed! Grin

I was about to take it back, and dug out the receipt and there was a phone number on there and a very nice man told me to unplug the router and start kindle and router up at the same time and it worked! now WHY isn't that on the Amazon website ffs? Confused

Anyway - it's working HOORAY! Grin
