Kindle for Ipad

can anyone tell me how to download books?! I havent used the app for ages and the latest update means you cant go directly to amazon through the app? Am i being reLly thick?

Haven't got the app for the IPad, but have got the Android version. if it's similar there are headings across the top, home, on device, archive and store.

I have an acer android and it has a little basket on top right of page which says 'shop kindle store' when you click it it takes you straight to amazon.Otherwise if you go to amazon itself when you want to buy a book it says 'download to' with your name in the box-if you click the name box iit shoud give you the option to select your Ipad.
