Well after months of indecision i am about to order my E3!
Just wondered if anyone can comment on what colour to buy..I quite fancy the red but am worried it will show the dirt!
Also I live abroad and it will be very hot once No 2 is born, does the newborn bit open at the back? And sorry to sound dumb but is there a harness in the newborn bit for the baby?? And do you need to buy a seperate raincover for the newborn bit?
Sorry lots of questions but I have never seen one as they aren't available here!
Thanks

I have one,and live (partly) in hot and dusty Turkey.
Mine is red and looks good 18 mths and countless flights later.
Newborn bit is open at the back-no harness, they lie in the compartment which has a small fabric 'wall' to keep them in.

I have raincovers for both bits, which have never been used.
Actually,anyone want to buy them???

So do you have to buy the raincover piece for the newborn or is it included with the buggy? Can't seem to find any reference to it on kiddicare.com?
Thanks

I think you buy it separate. Not sure tbh. I make dh do all that sort of tedious stuff.

If you buy the raincover for doubles mode it comes included

I need more feedback on p&t's please.

I thought I'd made my mind up but have a few worries. I'm due in 3 weeks and my little girl is 16 months. I went to a shop to try out the E3 and put her in the front chair then tried her in the 2nd combination with her in the back.
She immediately put her little hands on the wheels and at one point was pushing them like a wheelchair user would turn them.
Isn't this a dangerous design fault?
The lack of guards also concerns me in that the child is so close to the wheels that he/she could get splashed if going through puddles.

The lie-down newborn section seems a bit flimsy and am thinking that maybe the cocoon will be too hot for the summer but, without it, the lie down section will not be protective enough on it's own.

Also worried about baby changing from lie flat to completely upright position. Isn't that a bit of a problem having no reclined position for the toddler combination?
I've also heard that the lie flat/cocoon bit can sag as the baby gets heavier, leaving the head-end lower. Anyone come across this problem?

I absolutely love my Bugaboo Cameleon but 16 month old is nowhere near standing let alone walking. Buggy board completely out of the question.
Thinking maybe of just keeping her in the pushchair and having the new baby in a sling.

I need an easy to steer double if I get one as I will be having a c-section and I'm only 5foot in height.
I thought the p&t was the answer but am completely undecided now.

Any comments from E3 owners would be really appreciated.

Panic panic.

Your situation sounds very similar to mine. DD was 16 months and not walking and I had a section, it is very easy to steer, I also had a 3 year old so was often holding his hand. You won't need a cocoon if its hot and they grow out of it very quickly anyway, I know some people put a pram mattress in there for comfort.
Your other comments although possibly true are less of a problem as your older child gets bigger and i'm certainly still using mine now the 'baby' is 16 months, they often swop round so you can have either in the front and they are both happy, don't remember puddles being a problem and as for touching the wheels its just a case of teaching them not to.
Good luck

Cheers geogteach.
I know I'm being a complete panic pants.
Your reassurance is really helpful and appreciated.
I do really want one but don't want to be regretful that I got one without getting enough feedback and advice and equally don't want to end up getting one in the end and wished I'd got one sooner.

Thanks again.
