So, my ancient Moulinex Masterchef has given up the ghost and I am hunting down a second-hand Magimix as we speak, as I feel grown-up enough for one now

I was wondering if anyone has the 4100 model, as I am waiting to hear back from someone selling one that seems good value, and it is a lot cheaper than the newer models I've seen advertised.
I will mostly use it for soups, cakes, whipping cream / egg whites, and grating - does it perform well on these or should I shell out more for the 4200?
