I want to get my DS and DD an electric toothbrush each. Thought it might help them be more efficient at brushing their own teeth. Which would you recomend, and where do i buy them from??

Thanks a lot, I know i can rely on you lot!!!

I get the throwaway colgate ones in boots for 4.99 each. they are often on special so I stock up. works out cheaper than buying heads and batteries for the more expensive kinds, and also you get the thrill of a new pattern toothbrush every couple of months....

My older two have Braun ones, but because there were only two designs I got ds2 a boots own and it is hopeless. Two have been faulty already.

I have a Braun battery operated one with a Lion King theme for my dd1 and it has made teeth cleaning a more enjoyable experience in our household even though she won't have it switched on. The childs Braun electric one was a lot more money and I wasn't sure she would like it switched on...as indeed she doesn't. DD1 is only 2.9 though. I have bought some Disney Princess replacement heads which she likes too. I think she prefers it as it is like our brush. TBH I will prob just move her onto our brush with her heads when the batteries go...if she ever lets us use it properly.

They are half price in Sains ATM. Bought a dolphin one on Friday for ds. £2.50

My two have the Braun kid's ones. I'm not sure it has improved their brushing to be honest, but ds was very keen (best Christmas present last year!) At the moment they have Incredibles tops on, and I'm pretty sure I got them at Waitrose.

My ds's had the bionicles ones for xmas, and I dont think they clean their teeth as well as normal ones. We have gone back to the old fashioned methods

Due beginning of july, will be no 3. Have ds7 and dd6. They are very excited about it, and DS wants to call the baby "Custard". Have to let him down gently, i think!!
