My kindle isn't working

My week old Kindle is refusing to connect to WIFI. I have tried robooting it and now the shut down screen is completely blank

will have to take it back to Currys tomorrow after college. unless someone has any ideas

Reboot again

Turn off wireless, restart Kindle from the settings, restart your wireless router.

The above is DH's advice as he did this when I was busy having a tantrum about my Kindle not connecting it happened here.

It is frustrating. Hope you get it sorted.

Call the amazon help line they ring you back quickly and sorted me out.

Does it matter that I bought my Kindle from a third party seller?

The wonderful tech support at Amazon have solved it for me. I wasn't re booting for long enough. Thank you for all your replies
