It's driving me mad that the leappad books 'give up' when dd answers wrong!!

I've just been listening to her paying a game in her leap book and I think she clicked on the wrong answer twice... the next time she did it wrong it just said "Let's play again later" and ended the game!!

Charming! Nothing like a bit of encouragement eh??

I know, bad isnt it - or sometimes if the child takes too long it finishes the game! the most impatient toy ever!

Have to admit I did laugh as well!!

Write to them telling them it's crap. They need feedback like this. If you suggest some design changes that would make Leappad a better toy, you're not just being negative, you're making some valid points which are actually quite valuable to them and make it easier for them to sell Leappad to parents.

And plus they might send you some vouchers.

You might have a point there Caligula....it does seem a bit demoralising for poor dd when she can't do it, it's a bit like the kids version of "Computer says NO"!!!
