I'm trying to move house. I need to insure a property that will be empty for 6 months or so while it gets a new kitchen, bathroom and rewiring. So far I haven't found anyone prepared to ensure the building - obviously there will be no contents. Can anyone suggest an insurer?

Frizzell now owned by Liverpool Victoria ensured the building for a home that dh inherited until we sold it. They did stipulate however that our own home was insured with them too.

Thank you. My house is not insured with Frizell so they wouldn't do it but I'm grateful for the suggestion. The self-build site was just what I needed, thank you.
