here is a deffo brill digital camera with 5 mega pixels and it is now £37.99

It has a huge screen and can make movies

It is not really quality iyswim like a SONY one would be BUT what I think is Deffo brill is that it gives the children the freedom to take their own photos

It has a 14 MB memory installed and kangaboy has already taken 12 photos and I took a short movie and that has filled it up

but I reckon without the movie it woill take about 20 photos

We are going to buy a memory card for it

but it came straight out of the box with battery charged and able to take photos straight away

so give it a go

Says £47.99 on there, RTKM - is that the wrong price? Ds1's birthday in March - I think he'd like this.

When the picture is taken with this (3M version in pink), the review time is quite short (paricularly if you are 4) the instruction book has gone missing at the moment so I wondered if that review time can be made longer? I can with my Sony but it did cost a lot more - does anyone know???

You press MODE 2 times and then menu

and it is there

We bought this exact one for dd(7) for Christmas. She loves it and finds it really easy to use.

I like the idea that DS can just experiment with angles and views etc.

DS took one photo yesterday of a clay model he had made and he moved and it looks really artisitc and as if it was on purpose

So although you could say it came out wrong it sort of came out right in that he took an artistic photo

Kanga - I have tried to alter the review time as you suggested and I still can't see the menu/method you suggested - does it definetly change the review time??
Thanks

RTKangaMummy · 19/01/2006 11:11

I see what you mean! I was thinking of the review time you get when you actually take the picture and it shows on screen for the first time as opposed to when you look at all those stored.

RTKangaMummy · 19/01/2006 11:49

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH I see

Sorry I don't know how to do that
