A quick rough guide if you have a sec please, as just got our new picasso today, but dd's old car seat doesn't seem to fit very well, is a bog standard britax one, so for those of you with picassos, what works for you? before I spend days trawling halfords and mothercare.....

We had a Britax Renaissance, fitted fine. We now have a Recaro Start, which also fits very well.

Have you checked the fit finder on the Britax website?

Hi Frizbe. Believe that there's only 1 isofix car seat on the market for newborns, assuming you're looking for the new arrival rather than DD? It's a Britax one, and you get a 'support leg' that fits into the isofix fittings, and then the seat slots into the support leg. We've got this one, and pretty sure that DH was able to find out from Britax website whether the support leg would fit our car or not, as it's not suitable for all isofix cars.

The seat comes out as safer than any other newborn one in the Which? reports.
