DH has the babyliss istubble. He really rates it. Uses it to shave his head and to trim his beard. Good on my pubes too! He also has a Phillips one. It has an built in vacuum and box to collect the shavings. I prefer it as less mess but DH is happier with the ishave for the end result.

DH just reminded me that neither of them cope at all with water.

The istubble stopped working after being left in the sink and getting a few drips on it. Boots gave us an exchange though. The Phillips one is more robust but I still wouldn't get it wet. Both are now used in font of the bedroom mirror rather then the bathroom one just in case. DH finds the istubble far superior though.

I own the philips beard trimmer (being a man :-) and am quite content with it. The vacuum is not perfect but much better than other trimmers. However, if you want a really short trim (we're talking a 1-2 day beard trim, it is not the best as its protection cap makes it a bit hard to get in close on the action. Still recommended though.
