Magnetic paint - any good?

Has anybody tried magnetic paint? Am thinking of trying to paint a strip round DS's bedroom, sort of like an old-fashioned picture rail, and using magnets to attach his paintings etc. Is the stuff any good? Thanks!

havent; tried the paint but love your nickname - are you a reformed clubber?

We have a magnetic wall and it's not bad. You do need to apply a couple of coats of the paint, though and be careful of lumps. Works best with stronger magnets - ie the ELC letters and numbers do stick on but if you want to put up pictures or cards then stronger magnets are needed.

Yes my experience is similar. You can paint over the magnetic paint in whatever colour you want.

Sadly nothing so exciting as a reformed clubber - just a bit buggy obsessed and hoping I have made the right decision... cheers mazzystar
