Hair detangler

I bought some hair detangler spray from Avon recently. The girls like it and it does seem to help a bit. I'm not sure if it's any better than just misting the hair with scented water.

What are other peoples' experiences?

I have been using Aussie Miracle Hair Insurance leave-in conditioner on dd's hair as it detangles too.

Have you got a tangle tease hair brush? They are brilliant.

Yes, we have tangle Teasers (and a Tangle Tamer). The Tangle Teasers help a lot, but we still get complaints about pulling on tangles.

I think I have found the magic formula - a mason pearson detangler brush and a couple of drops of hair serum. dds thick frizzy hair has been tamed. hooray!

The MP brush is much better for getting through to the underlayers than the tangle teaser we've found.

Johnsons de-tangling spray is very good. My DS has curly hair & this is perfect.

What is an MP brush Reindeer?

OhYouBadBadReindeer · 13/12/2011 13:18

Sorry - tis a Mason Pearson brush. I held off for years cos of the cost but wish I'd gone for one sooner - would have saved many a tear.

Blush I have got one-for my own hair! I have never thought about using it on my dds. I'll give it a go this morning. It can take 10 minutes to brush and I had read about the other brush on here but you can't get them where I live. Thanks for the tip.
