please help me choose a new hoover!

God this is DEEPLY dull, but we are having to buy a new hoover now that the old faithful "henry" has finally given up the ghost. What shall I buy.... upright? the other type? We have mainly carpet through the flat, no pets, limited (but not tiny) storage space... I can't beleive this is how I'm spending my saturday night

Henry is the best hoover in the world and he is smiley too!!

I would never buy anything but an upright Sebo.

Here , my Mum just bought this today, looks like a good deal. The beater bar goes round and gives the carpets a beating (I suppose), they get a more thorough clean.

Why aren't you going for another Henry? Ours is 10 now and still going strong (and I'm a sucker for that smily face! )

i probably will go for another henry, but I thought I'd just do a sample poll amongst you all to make sure I wasn't missing out ona fabulous new hoover development
